What to Expect

Welcome

If you're thinking of visiting City Church, our desire is that you will feel the warmth and
welcome that make City Church a place for you. We are a friendly, loving community
that has joined together to seek God. We are friendly and like to make new friends so
people will actually talk to you! Don't have the right kind of clothes? Sure you do! We
come as we are and so should you. People who are part of City Church love the fact
that there are people from all walks of life represented. From businessmen in suit and
tie to a high schooler in shorts and a t-shirt. There is no need to dress in a certain form
or fashion in order to fit in. We encourage everyone to simply come as you feel
comfortable.

Prayer

Prayer is the number one value of City Church. We believe that God cares about the
things we care about. We also believe that if we are facing a difficult issue or a trying
situation in our lives, that God cares and His desire is for us to allow Him to help us with
anything that we may go through.

Children

If you have children we know they will enjoy the age appropriate Bible lessons we have
prepared just for them! Our teachers are fun energetic people who have passed a
thorough background check and work hard to create a safe and secure children's area.
Kids of every age group will have the time of their life, from birth all the way to 5th grade
City Church is the place your child will want to be on the weekend!

Worship

Worship is the part of our service that we spend giving thanks and praise to God. We
believe that people should get lost in vibrant worship of our creator . At City Church, our
greatest passion is for our awesome God. So we do these things to show Him and
others our love for Him.

Teaching

Dynamic teaching is something that you will find in every service. God gave us His
Word, the Bible, to find wisdom and guidelines to live by. Pastor Steve Williams teaches
principles of hope, truth and encouragement, that will enhance your life and bring a new
perspective for the days to come.
